Can I upgrade my pledge in the pledge manager?

Yes!! We understand the holiday season is here and we don’t want you to feel pressured. You can join our party and back at the $1 tier and upgrade later. It might not count a lot for Stretch Goals but it means a lot for us and you still get the early bird if you upgrade your pledge later and/or loyalty rewards (if you are a returning backer). You also get access to the same pledge levels and prices as the live campaign.

How long will the pledge manager remain open?

Several months. At least until the end of June so feel free to pledge in any tier (even the $1 tier) and you will still get the early bird and/or loyalty rewards (if you are a returning backer) as well as lock the Kickstarter prices and perks available here.

Are there any Kickstarter exclusives?

No. Instead, we offer the best possible deal to our Kickstarter backers. For the past years, we have refrained from creating Kickstarter exclusives to do our part in decreasing FOMO (fear of missing out). Some of the items available in this campaign will be printed in limited quantities, but they will still be available in the pledge manager, in events we attend (usually Gen Con, Essen, Roll a Game, Mega XP), in future crowdfunding campaigns, or other outlets. We don’t want you to feel forced to back the Kickstarter. Instead, we invite you to back the $1 tier and choose later whether to upgrade your pledge or not.

How do I know if I am eligible for the early bird reward?

You just have to back the campaign (at any tier) and you will get the free Raft mini expansion (even if you pledge $1 at this time to upgrade your pledge later). As a backer of ours, we consider you an early supporter of this game and we believe all backers should benefit from this, whether you hear about this Kickstarter on the first day or its last. Late pledges won’t be eligible for the early bird (although it will be available as an add-on) so make sure to at least back with the $1 tier and upgrade your pledge later.

How do I know if I am eligible for loyalty rewards to returning backers?

You will get the loyalty rewards if you backed one or more Kickstarters for any of these games: Dodos Riding Dinos, Dodos Riding Dinos: Dodo Dash, War for Chicken Island, Kiwi Chow Down, Cooks & Crooks, Seat Wars

Do I need all 3 games for the Avian Trilogy Party cards (first loyalty reward)?

No, but the more you have, the more mini games you can play. This pack includes 9 cards in total with new mini games. For 3 of them you need Dodos Riding Dinos (or Dodo Dash), For 3 other mini games, you need War for Chicken Island. And for the last 3 cards, you need Kiwi Chow Down.

What are the Creature Kingdoms promo cards (second loyalty reward)?

These are 7 cards that we gave away at some events during 2023 (and will also give them at 2024) that are playable in Dodo Dash, War for Chicken Island, and Kiwi Chow Down. These will also be available (in limited quantities) in our webstore during 2025. These are free for returning backers

How fast is the expedite shipping?

We will place orders with our fulfillment partners’ hubs at the end of each month to send those who ask for expedite shipping.

Is the cloth bag included in the deluxe edition of the game?

No, the cloth bag is included only if you backed the tier level Deluxe PLUS, along with the hat and patches.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Terms and Conditions

You must answer your survey before the indicated deadline to expect to receive your items when fulfillment is reported to start. Otherwise, your items might be sent on a further wave of delivery and may incur in extra shipping charges.
You are responsible for updating your mailing address in the event of moving to a different address. Moving to a different country might incur in shipping fee adjustments.

Communication on our end is held through project updates on the Backerkit campaign for this project. You are responsible of making sure that your Kickstarter profile has email notifications for this project enabled.

No refunds are possible after locking orders unless we state that an item can no longer be delivered.
Delays in production and logistics are always possible and should be expected but If we determine a component cannot be delivered after 24 months of surveys being locked, we refund that completely at the best of our effort, including fees.

Once you receive your items, if a component is damaged or missing, you must report it within 30 days of receiving the product to expect a replacement. After that, replacements are not guaranteed since we may no longer have spare parts. Replacements are usually sent for no extra cost, but this will be defined in a case-by-case scenario. We require pictures and proof to file a claim with the involved parties (manufacturer, shipper, etc); these pictures should display the damaged goods including the packaging box in which your items arrived. The latter is particularly important for game boxes with dents.
We reserve the right to include a return shipping label for you to return the damaged goods.
